Dubai-based airline
Emirates has announced that members of its frequent flyer programme will be able to earn double airmiles on more than 100 flights across its network over the coming months.
The bonus will be available on services to popular cities including
London,
Munich,
Sao Paulo and
Mumbai from July to October.
All members of the Skywards programme who book Emirates' first,
business and economy class seats to select destinations will be eligible for the extra miles.
The offer will apply to all relevant flights, even if they are only part of a wider itinerary.
For instance, Skywards members on
business class flights to Dubai from London will earn double miles for the flight even it is only the first leg of a journey to
Sydney.
Airmiles can be used in exchange for flight or upgrade rewards on Emirates services, or for retail bonuses on the airline's shopping platform.
Emirates recently increased the frequency of its service from Dubai to Sao Paulo, meaning that it now offers daily flights between the
United Arab Emirates and
Brazil.
