Fans of circus entertainment will have plenty of opportunities to indulge their interest this summer if they choose to take a holiday to
Spain.
The world famous Cirque du Soleil will visit the Iberian country over the coming months as part of a tour of
Europe.
Quidam, one of the company's best known shows, opened in
Alicante on July 24th and will be showing until August 31st.
A variety of weird and wonderful performers are included in the event, ranging from aerial contortionists and trapeze artists to groups of synchronised acrobats and balancing acts.
Following its run in
Alicante, the show will travel to
Barcelona and show from September 11th until October 19th, before heading to the
Brussels Kart Expo from October 30th to November 30th.
Visitors to
London will be able to see Cirque du Soleil's Quidam at the Royal Albert Hall between January 7th and February 1st.
