Thai Airways has unveiled its new lounge at
Kuala Lumpur Airport in
Malaysia.
Renovations of the Thai Airways lounge at Kuala Lumpur Airport began in November 2007 and came to an end in April this year.
The facility has a new maximum capacity for 75 passengers, comprising 11 seats in the VIP section and 64 seats in the main lounge.
Based on the same standard as Thai Airways' lounges at
Bangkok International Airport, the Kuala Lumpur complex provides amenities including LCD televisions, stereos and internet access.
Wanporn Wibooncharoenkitja, Thai's Airways' managing director of ground customer services, said: "Thai always places great importance on providing services to passengers that extend maximum convenience and greater comfort.
"With the relaunch of Thai's Royal Silk lounge at Kuala Lumpur International Airport, passengers can enjoy the facilities, products and services offered in the lounge, where they can relax or work, based on their travel requirements."
The new lounge is open to Thai Airways
business class passengers, Star Alliance Gold Card holders and people travelling in premium class with
Singapore Airlines and
Lufthansa.
