Swiss has recruited the services of leading chef Pierre-Andre Ayer to design menus for its first and
business class passengers.
Ayer is the chef at the award-winning Le Perolles restaurant and is reportedly one of most famous culinary masters in
Switzerland.
Premium passengers will be able to enjoy Ayer's creations on intercontinental flights out of Switzerland and selected return flights until the end of November.
First class passengers will be able to enjoy delicacies including pumpkin mousse with aubergine caviar and champignons duxelle as an amuse-bouche, followed by main courses such as roast fillet of venison with a quince and ginger jus.
Starters for business class travellers will include a pumpkin and goose liver terrine, while the main meal menu will offer a haunch of lamb with potato puree, botsi pears and green beans.
People who prefer to sample
culinary delights at their holiday destination rather than on the way there can reach a number of popular eating spots with Swiss, including
Paris,
Rome and
Barcelona.
