Holidaymakers given reasons to visit Northern Ireland

The Bushmills Irish Whiskey company has provided holidaymakers with a number of reasons to visit Northern Ireland.

Music fans will find plenty to interest them in Northern Ireland over the coming months, with Oasis playing at the Odyssey Arena in Belfast on October 29th and 30th, followed by Coldplay at the same venue on December 18th.

Those who are more interested in comedy may be able to catch Lee Evans in Belfast on October 15th.

There are a number of sporting options also on offer in Northern Ireland, with plenty of golf courses to be found in the area, while those looking for more excitement can sample the local surfing culture.

Arguably the region's most famous attraction is the Giant's Causeway, an area of some 40,000 interlocking basalt columns that is listed as Northern Ireland's only Unesco world heritage site.

Just down the road from this site is the Bushmills Irish Whiskey distillery, which is this year celebrating the 400th anniversary of first receiving its licence to distil alcohol.
