Gulf Air has announced plans to offer a new schedule of flights between
London Heathrow Airport and
Muscat, the capital of
Oman.
The carrier, which is the national airline of
Bahrain, is offering passengers better connecting
flights from Heathrow Airport to Muscat via its national hub.
Passengers will be able to catch two daily services from London Heathrow to
Muscat with a stopover of no more than 60 minutes in Bahrain.
The schedule will include an overnight service that arrives in Oman at 09:15 local time.
James Harrison, Gulf Air's general manager in the UK and Ireland, said the airline was "delighted" to offer better connectivity to a
Middle Eastern country that is becoming increasingly popular for short breaks.
He added: "Our new schedule gives [passengers] the chance to enjoy our renowned service and hospitality and the choice of night flights in both directions to maximise their stay and enjoy the stunning beaches, diverse landscapes and wonderful sea life that Oman has to offer."
