New five-star hotel opened in Bratislava
The Slovakia Tourist Board has announced the opening of a new five-star hotel in the country's capital of Bratislava.
Officially opened on October 21st, the Hotel Albrecht was brought into service two days before the visit of the Queen and Prince Philip, who will be paying their first visit to Bratislava this week.
The hotel features 12 individual rooms, each with a plasma screen television, L'Occitane cosmetics and king-sized beds.
Guests, who can stay in the hotel for prices starting at €154 (£120) per night, will also be able to dine in the Restaurant Albrecht and visit a spa offering a 15-metre massage pool, a Finnish sauna and Thai treatments.
Bratislava is one of the many popular city break destinations in Europe, with attractions including an old town that is home to a number of medieval buildings and structures.
Flights to the city from the UK are available with carriers including British Airways, Czech Airlines and KLM.
