Austrian Airlines to offer Innsbruck bus connections
Austrian Airlines will soon launch a bus service offering connections between Innsbruck and three of the major ski resorts in Austria.
The airline's 'skibus' service will operate between November 27th and April 19th, providing "seamless" connections from Innsbruck to the Alpine resorts of St Anton, Ischgl and Soelden.
People flying to Innsbruck with Austrian Airlines will be able to make use of two daily bus services in both directions from Thursday to Sunday.
The connections will take approximately one and a half hours to carry passengers from the airport to their resort.
Schedules have been arranged to fit in with Austrian Airlines' flights. The carrier claims that passengers on the flight leaving London at 06:05 should reach their resort by 13:05 using the bus service, while people on the 12:55 flight from London should arrive at their destination at 20:35.
People planning skiing holidays who intend to make use of the bus service should book their tickets before travelling as reservations will not be available during journeys.
