Virgin Atlantic has announced that it is "flying high" this winter following its recent success at the British Travel Awards and with a number of new services to be launched soon.
The airline was named the best provider of economy class services,
business class products and
long-haul flights.
Steve Ridgway, chief executive of Virgin Atlantic, described the awards success as "an amazing achievement".
He added: "The travellers that voted clearly love flying with us whether they are in upper class or economy which is a tribute to our people, our innovative products and high standards in customer service."
The airline will soon expand its range of services in the far east when it launches a new flight from
Heathrow Airport to
Hong Kong.
A second daily flight on this route will double the airline's capacity from December 4th and offer improved connections to
Australia.
