In response to the raft of financial reforms announced in this week's pre-Budget report,
Leeds-Bradford Airport has announced what it describes as its own "credit-crunching reductions" in the form of discounts on long-stay car parking.
The airport launched a promotion offering price cuts of up to 20 per cent for people who pre-book their long-stay parking spaces online.
Commercial and aviation director Tony Hallwood described Leeds-Bradford Airport as "the consumer's champion" and said it is "giving something back" to its customers with these reductions.
He added: "We now offer two great long-stay products for passengers booking online who want the peace of mind and convenience of parking onsite at Leeds Bradford international airport.
"A fully flexible package which allows you to make amendments to your booking, or a non-flexible package that saves you even more."
People catching flights from Leeds-Bradford Airport can book their parking spaces online up to 24 hours before their departure time.
The airport hosts flights to destinations such as
Amsterdam and
Glasgow with airlines including
KLM and
bmi, as well as connections to
cruise services operated by P&O Cruises.
