Madrid to host CowParade exhibition
Visitors to the city of Madrid in Spain will be able to visit a public art exhibition next year that could well be unlike anything they have seen before.
CowParade, a public art exhibition comprised of vibrantly designed fibreglass cows, will come to the Spanish capital from January 16th to March 21st next year.
The event is regularly held in destinations all over the world and sees local artists designing cow models in various ways and displaying them at locations around their city.
Originally conceived in Switzerland in 1998, the first official CowParade event was held in Chicago in 1999.
Since then, public exhibitions have been held in cities as far and wide as Tokyo, Sydney, Johannesburg and Sao Paulo.
Visitors to Madrid are likely to be able to see colourful cows displayed in city districts such as Salamanca, Retiro and Central.
More information on the CowParade initiative or the Madrid exhibition can be found on their official websites.
