Holidaymakers in
Canada now have a new
luxury accommodation option in the form of the Black Rock Oceanfront Resort in Ucluelet, British Columbia.
The resort opened on January 16th and is offering special opening rates until March 5th this year.
Situated on the Pacific west coast of
Vancouver Island, the complex "is set to redefine luxury", according to the Canada tourist board.
One of the major attributes of the resort is its location, with views over the Pacific Ocean and access to natural surroundings where visitors can go hiking, kayaking, fishing and whale watching.
Black Rock was designed by renowned architect Ron Lea and boasts features such as rock, water, glass and wood as part of its structure and extensive use of natural light.
The resort consists of a main lodge with 71 guest suites and 62 beach suites, with other facilities including hot pools overlooking the ocean, a restaurant and a cocktail bar.
People interested in visiting the complex can fly to
Vancouver with carriers including
Air Canada,
British Airways and
KLM.
