Paddington Bear to fly with British Airways
Families catching long-haul flights with British Airways from February half-term should have no trouble keeping younger travellers entertained when new activity bags are made available on the airline's services.
The so-called 'skyflyer packs' have been designed to resemble the familiar and well-travelled suitcase owned by the children's character Paddington Bear.
Designed for children between the ages of three and five, the pack contains an activity book, stickers and crayons, while the British Airways inflight entertainment system will show Paddington Bear programmes.
For children between the ages of six and 12, British Airways will offer a neoprene pencil case, a pack of playing cards and a magazine filled with features, puzzles and interesting facts from around the world.
British Airways carried more than 1.6 million children and over 300,000 babies across its network in 2008.
The airline's most popular family destinations include Paris, New York, Dubai, Orlando and Geneva.
