American Airlines offers new onboard amenity kits
American Airlines is now offering a new range of products in amenity kits that are supplied to its premium passengers on international flights.
The new packs are available to first and business class customers on the airline's Flagship service, which operates between the United States, Europe, Asia and Latin America.
A number of cosmetic items are contained in the new kits, including milk and honey body lotion and lip balm made by Burt's Bees, a leading manufacturer of natural personal care products.
Premium passengers will also be provided with thicker socks, larger eyeshades, Colgate toothpaste and a toothbrush with a resealable cap.
Lauri Curtis, vice-president of onboard service at American Airlines, said: "We consistently seek to align our product and service offerings with what our customers value so that we can provide a better overall travel experience.
"The redesigned amenity kit, thanks to input from our customers and flight attendants, includes premium products our customers value, like Burt's Bees, which more closely meet their needs."
American Airlines offers direct flights to Chicago from Manchester Airport and flights to New York, Miami and Los Angeles, among other destinations, from Heathrow Airport.
