Football fans all over
Europe will be making their travel arrangements over the coming days to see how their teams get on in the quarter-final of the 2009 Champions League.
The draw for the next round of the club tournament was made today (March 20th) and offered up some interesting travel opportunities for English supporters in particular.
Manchester United fans will be booking flights to
Porto in
Portugal to see how their side, the reigning champions, fare against the team that knocked them out of the competition five years ago.
Followers of Arsenal can also look forward to some sunshine after the Gunners were paired with Primera Liga outfit Villarreal, who are based on the east coast of
Spain.
Liverpool supporters will once again be arranging flights to
London this year as the Reds have been drawn against Chelsea for the fifth successive Champions League season.
Bayern
Munich and
Barcelona were paired with each other to complete the draw.
Matches will be played on April 7th, 8th, 14th and 15th. The final of the 2009 Champions League will be held in
Rome on May 27th.
