Virgin Atlantic has announced that its latest 'birthday present' to flyers is a special return fare from
London Heathrow to Chicago.
Earlier this year, the British carrier announced plans to launch a series of special offers each week up until its 25th birthday on June 22nd.
Under this latest deal, return fares between
Heathrow Airport and
Chicago will cost just £250 in economy class, while seats in
premium economy have been slashed to £499 return, with both prices inclusive of taxes and extra charges.
To take advantage of the offer, customers must book before the start of April and fly between March 26th and April 3rd, or April 8th and May 31st.
News of this latest deal comes after Virgin Atlantic president Sir Richard Branson announced the launch of the airline's new £1,239 round-the-world airfare, timed to coincide with the commencement of its V Australia services between
Los Angeles and
Sydney.
"The combination of Virgin Atlantic and V Australia offers travellers huge flexibility in their global planning and some of the best value round-the-world fares available," Sir Richard said at the
Sydney launch party.
