Bmibaby has announced its winter flying programme, which will get underway from its UK bases of
Birmingham Airport,
Cardiff Airport,
East Midlands Airport and
Manchester Airport on October 25th.
One of the highlights of the season will be a brand new winter service to
Grenoble in
France from all four bases, which will operate once a week from Manchester and twice a week from the other airports.
Bmibaby will also continue to operate flights to
Toulouse from Manchester Airport, a service that has been introduced for the summer and has seen strong demand.
The airline will serve a total of 19 European destinations for the winter 2009-10 season, including
Amsterdam,
Barcelona,
Paris and
Prague.
Managing director Crawford Rix said: "We have seen strong early bookings for summer 2009 as people are keen to save money by booking early.
"We believe this trend will continue for the winter season as people want to secure a great deal and their ideal dates of travel."
Bmibaby recently announced that it will be offering a one-off service from
Manchester to Porto on April 15th for Manchester United fans heading to Portugal for a Champions League match.
