Spring guide to New York published

A new guide has been published covering the various holiday and travel opportunities on offer in New York City over the spring period.

Released by tourism marketing agency NYC & Company, the 240-page publication offers information on accommodation, sights, experiences and other aspects of a visit to New York.

Travellers can pick up the guide for free at any official tourist information centre in the city or order it at nycgo.com, NYC & Company's official website.

George Fertitta, the agency's chief executive, said: "This spring, New York City is in full bloom and the five boroughs have never been more welcoming to visit.

"With many noteworthy anniversaries, exciting events and more reasons to visit than ever before, 2009 will be a year to remember and this guide is an indispensable resource for visitors planning their NYC itinerary."

Flights to New York are available with several major carriers, including British Airways, Virgin Atlantic, KLM and Northwest Airlines.
