Conde Nast Traveller lists best new hotels

Conde Nast Traveller magazine has revealed what it considers to be the world's best new hotels in its 2009 Hot List.

The run-down includes plenty of options for people looking for some luxury, including Dubai's Atlantis the Palm, where guests can relax in one of the 27 treatment rooms and choose from 17 restaurants for an evening meal.

Similar levels of lavishness are on offer at the Montage Beverly Hills in Los Angeles and the Four Seasons Hotel in Florence.

Travellers planning to head to the Asia Pacific region for their holidays this year can visit new hotels including the Sal Salis Ningaloo Reef, a solar-powered eco-lodge in Australia's Cape Range National Park.

Other establishments in the region to feature in the 2009 Hot List include the St Regis Bali Resort in Indonesia and the Club at the Saujana in Kuala Lumpur.

According to another list published by Conde Nast Traveller recently, people looking for a unique seaside holiday will find some of the world's best beaches in Goa, Sydney and Rio de Janeiro.
