Special offers being launched across New York
New York City's official tourism marketing organisation has announced the launch of NYC: The Real Deal, an integrated marketing campaign that will provide a host of special offers and discounts for visitors.
NYC & Company said that the first phase of the initiative will be in place until June 30th and will offer 'buy one, get the second 50 per cent off' promotions at museums, tours, entertainment venues and other attractions throughout New York.
Travellers can log on to a dedicated section of nycgo.com for full details of the special offers that are currently available.
Options include a visit to the Brooklyn Children's Museum, a trip to see Chicago on stage and a day at the New York Botanical Garden in the Bronx.
Jane Reiss, chief marketing officer of NYC & Company, said: "The NYC: The Real Deal program is designed to entice visitors and locals to experience the vibrancy, energy and excitement of New York City while taking advantage of unprecedented savings this year."
Travellers interested in taking advantage of some of the special offers can catch flights to New York with Continental Airlines, Virgin Atlantic, British Airways and other carriers.
