Icelandair to offer flights to Reykjavik from Glasgow
Icelandair has announced that it will offer flights from Glasgow Airport to Reykjavik from August 27th to November 8th this year.
Flights will operate between Glasgow Airport and Reykjavik twice a week on Thursdays and Sundays, giving travellers the opportunity to take a four-day weekend break in Iceland.
Icelandair also offers connections to a number of destinations in North America via its Reykjavik hub, including New York, Orlando and Toronto.
Airline spokesman Hjorvar Saeberg Hognason said: "We are pleased to return to Glasgow with these special flights and hope that our customers in Scotland take advantage of visiting Iceland at this exciting time of the year.
"It's a great time to experience Iceland's beautiful autumn colours and catch cool events like the Iceland Airwaves music festival."
