Travellers looking forward to sampling some good food during a trip to
Canada this year have been offered a guide to the country's top new restaurants.
One of the establishments to receive the seal of approval from the Canadian Tourism Commission is Atelier Restaurant in
Ottawa, whose chef, Marc Lepin, is known for his experimental approach to food and for creating unusual menus.
In
Toronto, visitors can try blueberry pancakes or ricotta gnudi with bacon in Mildred's Temple Kitchen, or head to Hank's Cafe for some simple but delicious food.
For those with a taste for Italian fare, the Canadian Tourism Commission recommended Campagnolo in
Vancouver, which offers "casual, affordable" dining and menus including tasty dishes such as fresh tagliarini pasta with pork ragu.
Other popular dining establishments that travellers can visit in Canada include DNA Restaurant in
Montreal, Chef's Table in
Calgary and The Only on King in
London, Ontario.
