British Airways confirms new flights to Las Vegas
British Airways will launch new flights from London Heathrow to Las Vegas this year, the airline has confirmed.
The new service will launch from Heathrow Airport on October 25th and will consist of one flight a day.
Passengers will be carried by a Boeing 777 aircraft offering three classes, including a new Club World business class service with fully flat seats.
Richard Tams, British Airways' head of UK and Ireland sales, said: "We know how to fly high rollers in style and we will be the only airline to fly non-stop from Terminal 5. It is the ace in our pack and we are going to play it for all it's worth.
"Despite the difficult global economic conditions, Las Vegas represents new business and growth opportunities for BA as we continue our commitment to invest in our customers."
Las Vegas will be British Airways' 19th destination in the US, joining cities including New York, Miami, Los Angeles and Chicago.
