Canada this summer will have the opportunity to visit Stanley Park as it hosts its annual open-air theatre season.
Theatre Under the Stars will run from July 14th to August 22nd at Stanley Park's Malkin Bowl.
The season will present two shows that will be performed on alternate evenings, starting with the musical Annie.
Famous for tunes such as Tomorrow and It's a Hard Knock Life, Annie tells the story of a young orphan whose bad luck finally changes when she meets billionaire Oliver Warbucks.
Theatre fans visiting
Vancouver this summer will also be able to see Thoroughly Modern Millie in Stanley Park, another tale of a headstrong young girl who comes to
New York in the 1920s with plans to charm her way into a better life.
Travellers interested in taking a trip to western Canada this year can catch flights to Vancouver with carriers including
American Airlines,
British Airways and
Air Canada.
