US Airways offering complimentary Wi-Fi
US Airways has announced that it is launching complimentary Wi-Fi services at a number of airport lounges across the US.
The carrier announced that, in partnership with T-Mobile, it was making free internet access available to members of the US Airways Club scheme, who simply need to insert their frequent flyer programme number to use the service.
Other visitors can request free Wi-Fi access at the lounges where it is available.
Locations where the initiative is being launched include Washington, New York, Los Angeles, Philadelphia and Tampa.
All other US Airways lounges across the country are expected to begin offering Wi-Fi access over the summer.
Travellers can join the US Airways Club scheme for periods of a year or 90 days, or alternatively opt for a single day pass.
Earlier this year, the airline expanded its presence in the UK when it launched a new non-stop service from Birmingham Airport to Philadelphia.
