New York next month will have more opportunities to enjoy affordable meals at top restaurants at the extended NYC Restaurant Week.
Tourism marketing firm NYC & Company announced on blogging website Twitter that NYC Restaurant Week will run for three weeks rather than the usual two this year, starting on July 12th and coming to an end on July 31st.
New York tourists will be able to visit hundreds of restaurants offering three-course prix-fixe lunches for $24.07 (£14.80) and dinners for $35 (£21.50).
NYC & Company spokeswoman Angela Tribelli said: "NYC & Company is excited to be able to take advantage of its growing Twitter presence to reach NYC Restaurant Week fans in a new way.
"By giving avid diners access to insider information and exclusive booking information, we plan to grow our online audience while providing them with real value during NYC Restaurant Week Summer 2009 and beyond."
Travellers can visit NYC & Company's Twitter page for future announcements on Restaurant Week and head to its
official website to make reservations.
