New luxury apartments opened in Dubai
Travellers planning a luxury break in Dubai this year will have the opportunity to stay in a new property recently opened by InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG).
IHG, which claims to be the largest hotel operator in the Middle East, expanded its offering in the United Arab Emirates by opening the InterContinental Residence Suites at Dubai Festival City.
Specially designed to cater for guests spending an extended amount of time in the city, the new property comprises 212 studio apartments as well as one, two and three-bedroom suites and a luxury penthouse.
All of the rooms offer modern facilities such as high-speed internet access, 37-inch plasma screen televisions and a fully-equipped kitchen.
Tom Lord, manager of the InterContinental Residence Suites, said: "We have a truly international team with both local and international knowledge giving us a fantastic opportunity to provide a very personalised service to all of our guests.
"Making the property available for bookings from July has re-confirmed the enormous demand for this type of upmarket, extended residential accommodation as the market in Dubai continues to mature and diversify."
IHG announced last month that it was bringing the global relaunch of one of its best-known brands, Holiday Inn, to Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando.
