'Kids go free' offer launched in Dubai
Dubai could prove a popular destination for family holidays this year following the launch of a 'kids go free' offer.
The Dubai Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing announced that it had launched the promotion as part of a campaign to consolidate the emirate's position as a world-leading holiday destination.
More than 70 properties and attractions are participating in the initiative, which launched on July 1st and will run until September 20th.
Highlights for holidaymakers include free entry for one child under 16 years of age for every two paying parents at Dubai Aquarium and Underwater Zoo, Sega Republic, Montgomerie Golf Club and other attractions.
Atlantis the Palm is also participating in the campaign, offering free entry for one child at Aqua Venture, Lost Chamber and Dolphin Bay.
The appeal of Dubai as a tourist destination will also be boosted this month by the opening of the new InterContinental Residence Suites property at Festival City.
Flights to Dubai are provided by airlines including Gulf Air, British Airways and Emirates.
