Film fans will be booking flights to Canada soon to attend the
Toronto International Film Festival.
This event will run from September 10th to 19th this year, screening a wide range of films from all over the world, including some that have already proved popular at other major film festivals.
The programme will be split up into different sections, with some dedicated to the promotion and celebration of Canadian cinema.
Visitors to
Toronto will also be able to see new movies made in
France,
Australia, the
UK,
Romania and other countries.
The Toronto International Film Festival is one of Canada's largest and most prestigious cultural occasions. Every year, it receives thousands of submissions and shows hundreds of films.
Screenings, talks and other festival events will be held at venues around
Toronto including the Royal Ontario Museum, the Ryerson Theatre and Roy Thomson Hall.
Flights to Toronto are provided by carriers such as
Air Canada,
Swiss and
KLM.
