Visit Valencia for La Tomatina
Travellers will be arranging flights to Valencia next month and heading to the town of Bunol in eastern Spain to take part in one of the country's most popular annual events.
La Tomatina is held every year on the last Wednesday in August, meaning that this year it will take place on August 26th.
More than 20,000 people from across Europe and the world descend on the town of Bunol to take part in La Tomatina, a giant tomato fight that is the highlight of a week-long festival.
Nearly 140 tonnes of tomatoes are hauled in to the centre of Bunol for the event, which turns the local streets into swamps of tomato juice.
The festival features a number of other activities and entertainment for visitors to enjoy, including culinary fairs, live music concerts and a fireworks display.
Travellers can catch flights to Valencia with easyJet, Iberia, Swiss and other airlines.
