Dubai Airport equipped with new information desk
Holidaymakers planning flights to Dubai this year will be able to visit a recently opened information desk at the emirate's international airport to ensure that they get the most out of their holiday.
The new visitor information centre was opened by Dubai's Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM) at Terminal 3.
It is part of an ongoing campaign by the DTCM to provide as much assistance as possible to travellers taking leisure and business trips in Dubai.
Travellers can pay a visit to the desk to find out about local attractions, events taking place, entertainment programmes, retail promotions and other topics.
Similar information centres are based at a number of locations around the emirate, including the BurJuman Centre, Wafi City and Ibn Battuta Mall.
Holidaymakers planning a trip to the United Arab Emirates this year can catch flights to Dubai with carriers including Virgin Atlantic, Qatar Airways and Gulf Air.
Other flight destinations in the country include Abu Dhabi and Sharjah.
