SAS offering free ticket competition on Facebook

A free ticket contest has been launched on Facebook by Scandinavian airline SAS.

The competition is open to all Scandinavian users of the social networking website and will run until the end of the month.

Users interested in winning a free ticket for themselves and a friend can log onto the site and access the contest.

After spinning a globe, they will randomly land somewhere in the world along with someone from their friends list.

Contestants must then explain why they and their friend, who has also been selected at random, should be given the free ticket and why they are suited to go on holiday together.

"Let destiny pick your destination," says SAS, as part of its campaign slogan. "Let Facebook pick your travel partner."

Around 100 users of the social networking site can win a trip for two. Facebook members can play the game just once each.
