Designer hotels to open in Dubai
Two of the most famous brands in the fashion world will launch new luxury hotels in Dubai this year.
The Palazzo Versace Hotel and the Armani Hotel will both offer a range of luxury amenities, while Lebanese designer Elie Saab will also be establishing a presence at the Tiger Woods Dubai complex.
Situated on Dubai Creek, the Palazzo Versace will feature 217 hotel suites and 169 private residences, all furnished with products from the designer's home collection range.
The world's first Armani hotel will boast an impressive location on the first eight storeys and floors 38 and 39 of the Burj Dubai, the tallest man-made structure ever built.
Guests will be able to stay in 160 rooms and suites and make use of various luxury facilities, both within the hotel and around the Burj Dubai development.
Ian Scott, UK and Ireland director of Dubai Tourism and Commerce Marketing, said: "With big name fashion brands such as Armani, Versace and Elie Saab all choosing Dubai for their stunning hotel designs, Dubai is set to become the ultimate destination to experience fantastic designer hotels unlike no other in the world.
"These designer brands really highlight how Dubai is earning its reputation as home to international design excellence."
Travellers can see and visit the new properties by catching flights to Dubai with Emirates, British Airways, Gulf Air and other carriers.
