Visit Dublin for the Chocolate Festival
City breaks in Dublin could prove popular with chocolate lovers later this year as the Irish capital hosts an entire festival dedicated to the sweet treat.
The Temple Bar Chocolate Festival will represent the largest ever gathering of expert chocolatiers based in Ireland, who will come to Dublin to host demonstrations and workshops highlighting the many ways in which chocolate can be used and enjoyed.
Visitors will also be able to attend a host of events themed around the confectionery, including performance art exhibitions, parades and film screenings.
The Chocolate Festival will be held in the Temple Bar area, a vibrant cultural quarter and popular tourist spot in the centre of Dublin, from October 30th to November 1st.
Also set to take place in Temple Bar this year is Culture Night, which will see talks, performances, tours and other events arranged by over 120 organisations and venues.
People interested in visiting any upcoming events in the Irish capital can catch flights to Dublin with Aer Arann, bmi, Aer Lingus and other carriers.
