New Sydney Harbour Bridge climb launched
Adventurous travellers planning a trip to Sydney in the future will have the opportunity to take part in a new activity on one of the city's most famous landmarks.
BridgeClimb Sydney announced that it has launched the Express Climb, which will allow visitors to reach the highest point of the Harbour Bridge in just over two hours.
The new pursuit joins the Discovery and Bridge climbs, which both last three-and-a-half hours and are available at dawn, day, twilight and night.
A new base that was opened as the starting point for the Express Climb will also serve as the first ever visitor centre at Sydney Harbour Bridge.
The centre boasts features including interactive displays, exhibition galleries and a high-definition cinema that tell the story of the bridge, which is one of Australia's most popular and recognisable landmarks.
More than 2.4 million people have climbed to the highest point of the bridge, including celebrities such as Robert De Niro, Kylie Minogue, Will Smith and Nicole Kidman.
