New flights to Morocco to be introduced by easyJet

Low-cost airline easyJet will launch new flights to Morocco, the Canary Islands, Israel and Egypt as part of this year's winter schedule.

It will begin a total of 22 new routes over the coming months as the carrier shifts its focus to offering connections to winter sun destinations from UK airports.

Flights to Marrakech will be launched from Manchester on Thursday (October 29th), while routes between Liverpool and Fuerteventura, London Gatwick and Porto, London Luton and Tel Aviv and Liverpool and Lanzarote will commence on November 3rd.

Further routes will also be introduced from London Stansted and Edinburgh.

In addition to the new services, easyJet has reaffirmed its commitment to operate high frequency flights to important city airports in addition to a "wide choice" of ski destinations.

Last year, the cheap flights carrier carried 44.6 million passengers. It currently operates 387 routes to 104 airports on Europe and north Africa.
