Cultural tours launched in South Australia
Travellers who enjoy immersing themselves in local culture during their holidays will find some new experiences to interest them in South Australia in the future.
The state's tourist board announced that a series of new tours have been launched inviting visitors to learn about the region's art scene and Aboriginal communities.
Eileen Lubiana is behind the Art Scout Art Tours programme, which takes travellers to six of Adelaide's smaller galleries and an artist's studio over the course of six-and-a-half hours, with morning tea and lunch with wine included.
Also on offer is a series of guided excursions that provide the opportunity to encounter Aboriginal culture in the Flinders Ranges and Coorong regions of South Australia.
Visitors are invited to view rock paintings, go on wildlife-spotting trips, drink bush tea, cook Aboriginal meals and learn about local plants and medicine.
Travellers who would like to experience the culture of South Australia can catch flights to Adelaide, the state capital, with carriers including Qantas, British Airways and Malaysia Airlines.
