A number of new tours have been launched in
Adelaide,
Australia that offer an insight into the city's culinary and cultural scenes.
Run by specialist food and wine operator Taste of South Australia, the excursions are led by local guides and include visits to some of the destination's leading attractions.
People who enjoy exploring local markets during their holidays will be able to take a tour that focuses on Adelaide's wine producers and cheese makers, as well as the significant buildings around Victoria Square.
Another excursion includes a visit to Rundle Street, one of the city's culinary hotspots, where visitors can try fresh seafood from the Oyster Bar or a hot drink from Chocolat.
Travellers interested in absorbing some local culture might be interested in a tour that visits the Samstag Museum and the Experimental Art Foundation, as well as the Apothecary restaurant.
All trips are priced at either AU$127 (£70) or AU$187 per person and last two or four hours.
Flights to Adelaide are provided by carriers including
British Airways,
Qantas and
Cathay Pacific.
