Rolling Stone set to open new Los Angeles restaurant and bar
Music fans booking flights to Los Angeles will soon be able to enjoy rock and roll dining as Rolling Stone magazine opens a new restaurant and nightclub in the city.
The world-famous music magazine is set to open its first food and drinks venue in the heart of Hollywood.
However, anyone hoping for a Hard Rock Cafe style experience could be in for a disappointment as the team behind the new venture have vowed not to make the upcoming venue into a 'museum' of music memorabilia.
Instead, the man hired by Rolling Stone to get the venue off the ground, Niall Donnelly, has told the LA Times that the restaurant will serve a mix of Mexican and American food, while the late-night bar will be 'up-market' and 'harder to get into' than most city establishments.
"We will have live music from time to time for record launches or parties," the Irishman told the paper.
"Otherwise we'll have a live deejay."
It is anticipated that the new venue will be open in time for the summer, spelling good news for those music and culinary fans booking flights to Los Angeles for then.
