England fans flying to South Africa look forward to World Cup group stage
Brits booking flights to South Africa ahead of next year's football World Cup are in for the experience of a lifetime.
England fans can look forward to matches against the US, Algeria and Slovenia now that the draw for the group stage of the competition has been completed.
This will involve trips to Rustenburg, Cape Town and Port Elizabeth, all of which are easily accessible thanks to flights from the UK.
Travel editor at Lonely Planet Tom Hall said that Cape Town will prove a massive draw for England fans.
"It is the most celebrated city and you can see why," he explained.
"Table Mountain is a stand out attraction and it has a very attractive coastline."
Mr Hall also singles out Rustenburg thanks to its proximity to Sun City, which he referred to as a "South African version of Las Vegas".
The draw for the first round of the World Cup took place at Cape Town's International Convention Centre and involved all 32 qualifying nations.
