KLM introduces flights to Denpasar Bali
KLM has resumed flights to Denpasar Bali from its base at Schiphol Airport in Amsterdam.
The airline began operating the thrice-weekly service on December 6th.
KLM has been flying to Indonesia for the past 80 years.
Denpasar Bali is the carrier's 61st long-haul flight location and its sixth destination in south-east Asia, joining the likes of Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur and Singapore.
More than 17,000 seats have been booked since the announcement was made in October that KLM would be reintroducing direct flights to Bali.
In response to the strong demand, the carrier will offer additional services next year.
President and chief executive Peter Hartman said: "We have decided to raise frequency to four weekly flights as of mid-January."
KLM has also altered its customer offering this month with the introduction of its Economy Comfort zone.
Located in the front of the economy cabin, the area provides amenities including extra leg room and seats that recline further than standard options.
