People considering an overseas adventure this year might be interested in paying a visit to
London to attend an event dedicated to the sector.
The Royal Horticultural Halls in Victoria will be the venue for Adventure Travel Live, which will run from January 29th to 31st.
Visitors will be able to find out more about the various experiences and activities on offer around the world, from wildlife tours and trekking to overland expeditions and small-group adventures.
According to its organisers, the event is a "one-stop shop for anyone planning an off-the-beaten-track travel adventure".
One of the highlights of Adventure Travel Live will be its line-up of talks, which will be given by people such as Ian Burton, who recently returned from a trip to film mountain climbers at Mount Asgard on
Canada's Baffin Island.
Dave Cornthwaite, who recently kayaked along the longest river in
Australia, will also appear at the show, as will Sam McConnell, who formerly worked as a guide in
Botswana and
Namibia.
More information about Adventure Travel Live is available on its
official website.
