Air New Zealand promotes Los Angeles, Auckland flights

Air New Zealand is currently promoting its flights to Auckland and Los Angeles for British travellers.

The airline said that a trip to New Zealand or the US could be the perfect way for Brits to "beat the January blues" and escape from the inclement weather at home.

As part of its New Year sale, Air New Zealand is offering fares starting from £675 for a return flight to Auckland from Heathrow Airport.

The promotional prices will be available for travel between April 16th and June 20th in the airline's Pacific economy cabin.

On flights to Los Angeles, the carrier is offering fares from £384 for customers who are able to fly from January 12th to June 30th or from August 22nd to November 30th.

Scott Carr, Air New Zealand's general manager in the UK and Europe, said: "We know that as well as feeling the pinch after Christmas, many people are also wanting to escape the weather we've been having.

"With temperatures in Los Angeles around 25 degrees and New Zealand experiencing one of the best summers in a decade, we suggest people get on one of our flights out of here!"
