New flight to Brussels launched from Bristol Airport
Brussels Airlines introduced an additional flight from Bristol Airport to Brussels this week.
The extra service was launched on January 11th and brings the airline's total number of daily flights on the route to three.
It is being operated on behalf of Brussels Airlines by bmi regional and carries codes for both operators, as well as Lufthansa, their Star Alliance partner.
Bristol Airport said that the new connection will bring 50 European cities and 14 destinations in Africa within easier reach for travellers based in south-west England and Wales.
The Brussels-based airline specialises in services to the African continent, offering flights to Abidjan, Freetown, Nairobi and other destinations.
Air France and KLM also provide access to Europe from Bristol Airport, with regular flights to their respective hubs in Paris and Amsterdam.
These links provide the opportunity for travellers to catch connecting flights to Tokyo, Hong Kong, Singapore and other exotic destinations.
