Etihad reschedules Dhaka flights
Etihad Airways has announced changes to its Dhaka to Abu Dhabi schedule in order to improve convenience for customers.
The Middle Eastern carrier now departs each morning from the Bangladeshi capital at 5:10 and 8:55 local time.
Return flights take off from the emirate at 3:55 and 21:25 UAE time.
Schedule changes have been made so that passengers from Dhaka can find it easier to take onward flights through Etihad Airways' Abu Dhabi hub.
In a statement, the airline said: "The new timings [will] greatly benefit business travellers, students and migrant guests by shortening the transit timings when connecting to destinations to and from Bangladesh through Abu Dhabi.
"The new timings will [also] improve connections to and from Dhaka via Abu Dhabi to New York, Cairo, Manchester, London, Frankfurt, New York, Chicago and Toronto."
At present, Etihad operates services to 60 destinations across the world. Of these, 13 are located in the Indian sub-continent.
