SAS offering free city passes on Birmingham to Copenhagen flights
SAS has launched a promotion offering free 24-hour city passes for people catching flights from Birmingham Airport to Copenhagen.
The cards are worth up to £34 each and are available for families and solo travellers visiting Copenhagen.
Advantages of the passes include free airport transfers and travel on the city's public transport system, comprehensive guides in English and discounts at a number of participating restaurants, shops and tours.
Holders will also benefit from free admission to more than 30 museums and attractions during the 24 hours for which their card is valid.
The SAS offer is available now for travel to Copenhagen between March 1st and April 30th.
People travelling from the UK can also catch flights from Manchester Airport to Oslo and from Edinburgh Airport to Stockholm with SAS.
Birmingham Airport recently announced that it handled 521,566 passengers through its two terminals in January, which represented a decline on the previous year.
Chief executive Paul Kehoe said: "The year-on-year decrease in passenger numbers of 7.2 per cent is still healthier than many other airports have reported and I feel that the airport is better prepared for the turbulent economic conditions that will face us, as opposed to 12 months ago."
