Pink cabs hit London streets to promote Bermuda
Bermuda Tourism has launched a new campaign in London to promote the destination.
Introduced shortly after the territory's 400th anniversary, the initiative will see ten London cabs sent out onto the streets in special pink liveries featuring the slogan 'Feel the love'.
The ten drivers will also be sent to Bermuda so they can share their first-hand experiences of the destination with passengers.
William Griffith from the island's tourism department said: "This is the first time we've undertaken anything like this in the UK.
"The British market is of significant importance to us and this year, we intend to renew our efforts and bring a little slice of our beautiful island to the UK."
A further 100 taxis with liveried side panels will continue the campaign from April to June and September to November this year.
Travellers planning to visit the destination can catch flights to Bermuda with Virgin Atlantic, British Airways, Delta Airlines and other carriers.
