Bmi to launch London Heathrow to Berlin flights this month
Bmi will extend its European network this month with the launch of flights from Heathrow Airport to Berlin.
The carrier confirmed that the route will be introduced on March 28th, with fares made available for booking yesterday (March 16th).
Passengers travelling from Heathrow Airport will be offered four daily services to Germany's capital city on an Airbus A319 aircraft.
Dominic Paul, managing director of bmi mainline, said the flights will provide a "good schedule and competitive prices" to Berlin, which he described as "one of Europe's most exciting cities".
He added: "Berlin is a major centre of culture, politics, media and science in Europe and customers travelling with bmi will have the opportunity to discover the cultural attractions Berlin has to offer."
The route is the second new service confirmed as part of the airline's summer schedule, with new flights to Vienna being announced in January.
Bmi is relaunching its product offering on continental European flights from March 28th with the aim of serving business and leisure customers equally.
