Flybe launches 24 new routes
UK airline Flybe launched its new summer schedule last week, with 24 new routes and up to 3,850 flights per week.
New routes include flights from Edinburgh to Guernsey, Bristol to the Isle of Man and Birmingham to Limoges.
The airline will also reintroduce popular summer destination routes for the 2010 season, including Glasgow to La Rochelle and Exeter to Rennes.
Mike Rutter, chief commercial officer for the carrier, said: "Despite industry challenges over the past year, we are delighted to be offering passengers the choice of 190 routes this summer and to be providing affordable quality flights to the widest possible range of desirable destinations.
"We remain committed to keeping Britain on the move and with holiday bookings already up on the same period last year we are also pleased to report a significant return in business traffic over the last six months. We will continue to expand our route network and to provide innovative, quality travel options."
