New tours launched in Western Australia
The tourist board representing Western Australia has announced a number of new tours that have been launched in the state.
Travellers hoping to see some of the region's natural sights can book a place on one of the excursions operated by Sail Ningaloo, which offers mini-cruises in the waters of Ningaloo Reef from March to October.
Visitors can choose from tours lasting between three and nine days, which offer the opportunity to see marine wildlife including tropical fish, whales, dolphins and turtles.
In Perth, travellers can take a trip through the city to learn about its contemporary aboriginal culture.
Run by local resident Rebecca Casey, the tours allow visitors to take art classes, sample some modern-day bush foods and learn how to play the didgeridoo.
Tourism Western Australia also highlighted some of the events that will be taking place in the region over the coming months, such as the CowParade art display in Margaret River, which will continue until June 30th, and the Mundaring Truffle Festival from July 31st to August 1st.
Flights to Perth are available with Qantas, Emirates and other carriers.
